Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before you use or buy anything on www.starseedinvaded.com and www.starseedinvaded.be (the "Website"). By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

The Website is operated by Kim De Bouvre, trading as Starseed Invaded.

2. General use

By using the Website, you agree that:

you will use the Website only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms;
you will not post, upload, distribute or share content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, threatening or offensive;
you will not infringe intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, designs, software and audio clips, is the property of Kim De Bouvre (Starseed Invaded) or is used with the owner's permission. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or otherwise use that content without prior written consent, except as the law allows or the licence in section 5 permits.

4. Purchases, prices and payment

All prices on the Website are in euros and [include VAT / are exempt from VAT as a small business]. Any extra costs are shown before you order.
You pay with the payment methods offered at checkout. Our payment partners process the payment.
Digital products, such as VST plug-ins, are delivered electronically after payment through a download link or an account, and confirmed by email.
We may refuse or cancel an order in case of an obvious pricing or technical error. If you have already paid, you get that amount back.

5. Software licence (VST plug-ins)

With your purchase you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the plug-ins on your own computers to make and release music. The music you make with the plug-ins remains yours.

You may not resell, share, rent, upload or otherwise distribute the plug-ins or their files. You may not decompile, reverse engineer or modify them, except where the law expressly allows it. The Analyze function in the plug-ins gives a suggestion as a starting point. You remain responsible for your final settings and for the result of your mix or master.

6. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have, in principle, 14 calendar days to withdraw from an online purchase, without giving a reason and at no cost.

For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, such as software, that right ends once delivery starts, provided that before delivery you expressly agreed to it and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. We ask for this consent at checkout. Without that consent, delivery does not start and your right of withdrawal remains.

7. Your legal rights and our liability

The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the content on the Website is always accurate, complete or suitable for your purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the Website.

These terms do not limit your mandatory legal rights as a consumer, including the legal rules on the conformity of digital content. If a product does not work as promised, contact us and we will find a solution together.

8. Privacy and cookies

You can read how we handle personal data in our privacy policy.

9. Changes

We may change the Website, its content or these terms. The version in force when you place your order continues to apply to that order. Please check the terms regularly.

10. Complaints and disputes

Have a complaint? Email us at starseedinvaded@gmail.com and we will work it out together. If that does not work, consumers can also turn to an approved body for alternative dispute resolution.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of the judicial district where Starseed Invaded is established. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
